- Abstract
The chemistry chair acts like an organism, growing and adapting to the environment. The pentagonal module, thanks to its basic geometry, allows the system to extend and change configuration, establishing an interaction with the user. The vast range of possibilities makes the system suitable for different uses (from dining to lounge) and different contexts (from private to public). Tyvek is here proposed as an alternative to fabric thanks to its resistant and unexpected use in a home environment.
